This strategy document provides an overview and roadmap for strengthening economic vitality, increasing resiliency, and identifying investment priorities throughout the Kodiak region. Breaking down the region into Community Profiles, Workforce Systems, and eight vital economic clusters, this document aims to provide a comprehensive general overview of the region’s economic activity and ambitions. By aligning local priorities with State and Federal economic development objectives, the CEDS helps guide decision-making, supports collaboration among partners, and positions the region to compete for economic development funding opportunities.
