Families with young children are invited to our December playgroup activities, filled with music, crafts, stories, and sweet holiday moments. Each week offers something hands-on, cozy, and creative for you and your little ones to enjoy together. Come make memories, sip cocoa, and celebrate the season with us.

December 1 – Music and Movement with Ms. Abigail

Location: Family Investment Center, 2815 Woody Way Loop
Kick off December with songs, dancing, and playful movement. Ms. Abigail will lead little ones through a fun morning of rhythm, giggles, and getting those wiggles out.

December 5 – Elder Storytime

Location: Kodiak Public Library, 612 Egan Way
Join our Elders for a warm and joyful storytime. Their laughter, wisdom, and gentle storytelling make this a special moment for children and grown-ups alike.

December 8 – Jingle Bell Wreaths

Location: Family Investment Center, 2815 Woody Way Loop
Create a festive jingle bell wreath to bring holiday cheer into your home. Little hands will love choosing colors, shaking the bells, and making something merry to hang up.

December 15 – Ornament Decorating

Location: Family Investment Center, 2815 Woody Way Loop
Make your own ornaments to decorate your tree or gift to someone special. Sparkles, paint, and creativity come together in this cozy holiday craft.

December 22 – Santa Hat Decorating with Hot Chocolate and Cookies

Location: Family Investment Center, 2815 Woody Way Loop
Design your own Santa hat, then warm up with hot chocolate and cookies. A cheerful holiday activity that’s as sweet as it is fun.

December 29 – Beaded Pipe Cleaner Snowflakes

Location: Family Investment Center, 2815 Woody Way Loop
Create sparkly beaded snowflakes to brighten up these dark winter days. A fun and easy craft little ones will love.
