The United States Department of Defense Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program, in partnership with Kodiak Area Native Association, will be hosting Arctic Care from May 9 to May 18 in the City of Kodiak and surrounding villages.

Online scheduling is available for the Kodiak clinic and available now!

To schedule care in Akhiok, Larsen Bay, Old Harbor, Ouzinkie, and Port Lions please contact your local clinic.

Services are available to everyone in the community. All individuals are welcome to schedule an appointment.

No, the military is not collecting any identifying information from patients.

No, insurance information is not being collected. All care is provided at no-cost to the patient.

While KANA included veterinary services in our application for the 2026 mission, a military veterinary unit was not assigned to this year’s deployment. Unfortunately, that means veterinary services will not be available during Kodiak Arctic Care 2026.

All glasses will be fabricated within a week here in Kodiak. You will receive a call when they are ready for pickup.
