Outdoor Adventures for Youth

June 20 – July 29, 2025

Explore the Rock is a free, outdoor adventure program for Kodiak youth entering grades 3–12 in the 2025–2026 school year. Join us this summer to hike, learn, and connect with nature—all while building confidence, friendships, and outdoor skills.

  • Dates: Tuesdays & Fridays, June 20 – July 29
  • Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Location: Meet at the KANA Wellness Center
  • Note: No hikes the week of July 4

This program welcomes all ability levels. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned explorer, there’s a trail for you as we discover the beauty of the Emerald Isle together!

  • Kodiak youth entering 3rd through 12th grade
  • No deadline to register, but registration is required before participation

Explore the Rock is made possible through support from State and Federal grants. To continue offering accessible programs for all youth, demographic data collected during registration is used anonymously for grant reporting.
