Relax and recharge in our traditional cedar sauna, offering dry or steam heat with temperatures up to 194°F. Each visit includes two 15-minute sessions with a rest period in between. Sauna use supports heart health, eases joint and muscle pain, and may improve breathing for those with asthma or chronic conditions. Regular sessions can also reduce stress, boost mood, promote restful sleep, and enhance skin clarity and tone. For those who train hard, sauna heat helps improve endurance and speeds up post-workout recovery.
Sauna Sign-up: Members can reserve sauna appointments in advance and double book for a longer session through the GloFox app. Same-day sauna appointments can be reserved in person at the front desk for both members and guests.
- Please note that Wellness Center staff will not accept phone reservations for the sauna.
Class and Sauna Cancellations: You may cancel class/sauna reservations up until 1 hour prior. After the 1 hour, please call the Wellness Center at (907) 486-1377.
No Shows: To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to book a session, if a member has more than three no shows to sauna, we will temporarily suspend the ability of that member to book through the app and request that they call the Wellness Center to book.
Late policy: Classes and sauna appointments will start promptly. Participants who arrive more than 5 minutes late to class may not be allowed to attend. Members who arrive 5 minutes late to their sauna appointment are considered a no show.
Each year the KANA Wellness Center sponsors two fitness challenges designed to get you moving and motivated throughout the year: the Winter Olympics and Move In May.
