Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
KANA’s TANF program provides financial assistance and support services to eligible families to help with living expenses, and other essential needs.
TANF is available to parents or caretakers of Alaska Native/American Indian children residing in Kodiak or one of the outlying villages. The program empowers families to become self –sufficient so they can support themselves, their children, and community.
Our TANF specialist works closely with our Workforce Development program.
